Questions and Answers:

Q: When is the next election?

A:  The 2022 General/Special Election will be held on November 8, 2022. 

Q:  When can I request an absentee ballot for the November 8, 2022 General/Special Election?

August 22, 2022August 22, 2022A:  The first day we can accept absentee ballot applications is August 22, 2022.  October 28, 2022October 28, 2022The last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the November 8, 2022 General/Special Election is October 28, 2022.

Q:  Will I get an absentee ballot automatically?

A:  The only way you will receive a ballot without applying for it is if, when applying for the Primary or Primary Runoff absentee ballot, you marked that you were opting in to receive ballots for the rest of the election cycle for one of the following reasons: Elderly, Disabled, or UOCAVA.  If you did not mark that section on the absentee ballot application, you must submit a new application for the November 8 General/Special Election.

Q:  Where do I vote?

A:  If you early vote (October 17 - November 4, 2022), you will vote at our office at 237 North 2nd Street, Madison GA.  If you vote on election day, you must vote at your polling place.  Please note:  our office is NOT an election day polling place.
